The Thirteen Commandments of the Amateur Radio Satellite Builder
1) Thou shalt not criticise the BOD in any way, shape or form.
2) Thou shall adhere rigidly to the party line at all times.
3) Original thoughts are taboo
4) Original ideas are taboo.
5) FM satellites are the dogs bollox, even better than PSK (but see commandments
9&12)
6) Contributors to the cause should gladly take what is dished out to them and
never question anything.
7) Criticism of ANY sort is punishable by excommunication, severe flaming or
worse.
8) The BOD's decisions are always right for the membership and must never be
questioned.
9) PSK is the best satellite mode.... bar none.... but see commandment 5!
10)Scientific methods are used to select projects, payloads and as a means of
stifling original thought.
11) Nr 10 is correct unless someone with influence and money has a 'better'
idea. Then #10 goes out the window and is replaced by #11
12) CUBESATs really *ARE* 'Amateur Radio satellites"... honest.. scouts
honour! Well at least if you join three together they can just about fit
the bill.
13) All commandments may be altered at any time by a closed session of the BOD.
