Discovered today in the garden, little field mice. My neighbour who had wooden decking found them living underneath and evicted them, so they have come to live with me. Nice that. Most urban gardens harbour wildlife, but people don't take the time to look. Just take a chair outside and just sit very still for ten minutes and see what turns up in your garden. It might surprise you. That brown patch on the grass is caused by wear and tear from birds looking for seeds that are being accidentally dropped from the bird feeder above. I imagine mice are quite 'flexible' and will eat whatever they can find.
