OBSERVATIONS    GM1SXX          23 Dec 2009

Intrigued to see GB3CSB listed as being 'activated'  when it fact it wasn't, I did a little bit of digging today, and beaconspot lists the following for last night and the previous evening ,when the beacon was stated to be 'activated' on Ray GN4CXM's website.  I didn't have to dig, there at the stop of the tree was....

Beacon spots for 1296MHz - 1298Mhz

So it looks like as of today, the 23rd, it's not actually on air, but undergoing testing with the stations above ,mostly part of the beacon team, reporting spots very late at night when GM1SXX was tucked up in bed!  A check on 1296.985 this morning reveals...... silence!   So it seems to be undergoing testing on JT4G and CW modes, late at night, when I'm usually sawing the odd log or two.  Interesting!
