Writing for OBS (old, bald and Senile!)
OBSERVATIONS was set up as a place for radio amateurs to have ideas and projects published. It has a particular slant towards Amateur Radio Satellite thanks to the interests of both John LA2QAA and myself AL, GM1SXX in this area. We also wanted to create a site of interest to newcomers to amateur radio which is why we host short articles that could help beginners.
We are always seeking input of new material from other sources as you will see in the main index page where we have OBSERVATIONS from a number of different countries. We always give full credit to the original authors for material placed on our website.
If you have anything related to amateur radio or amateur satellites, or a project you'd like to share and to see published on Observations, please contact Al GM1SXX at the address below. With your help, we can make Observations into an international resource for radio amateurs.
We prefer material in a standard web format or as Rich Text Format with photos sent as attachments although we are quite flexible and will try to accomodate other formats. Enquiries and material should be posted to Al GM1SXX with a short cover note. Al can also be contacted at the address below for any queries or feedback. Don't be shy. We need your input!
